PRINCESS ELISABETH STATION IN ANTARCTICA:
The first “zero emission” station at the South Pole, pride of Belgium and the International Polar Foundation (IPF). Built between 2007 and 2009, it is now an important base for multidisciplinary scientific studies as well as center of outreach and communication to schools and young scientists from all over the world.
Henri Robert from IPF will join us for #APECSBELGIUMDAY2020 and will talk about the station and current undergoing research. We are looking forward to see him again!
